  SUSPENSION LOWERING

One way to transform the drive and aesthetics of any vehicle is to lower the suspension, this gives it a more aggressive and purposeful stance, as well as giving it a more sporty feel to drive.

There are 2 ways of lowering your T4 or T5. How you intend to use your van will determine which route to take for lowering it. Springs or full suspension kits, i.e. coil-overs. There are fors & against for each.

SPRINGS

These are the most cost effective way to lower a van. There are many different manufacturers with many different prices.

They come as a complete set of new springs and are available is various heights.

The downside with these is that the height is set, because of this often a converted van will sit lower at the rear than the front.

COILOVERS

These are by far the best option to lower a converted van although they cost more than springs alone. Coilover kits are a complete set of new shock absorbers and springs. The spring platforms have adjusters so the height can be set to suit your own preference so the rear of a converted van can be raised up to allow for the extra weight.

Again there are many different manufacturers available with some having damper adjustment (soft through to hard) as well as spring height adjustment.

Our fully trained staff can supply & fit either option on site.

We offer suspension kits from eading manufacturers and are approved to the high standards of German TuV. They come with a full warranty.

If you would like any more any more information on any of the suspension options please do not hesitate to get in touch.
